The Courses
Both courses feature some of the most rugged and scenic terrain Whiskeytown has to offer, taking our racers up along Brandy Creek.
The 8.5 mile starts at 9am with a final cutoff time of 2pm. Racers will continue up Brandy Creek until turning back on the Rich Gulch trail.
The 22.5 mile course starts at 8am with an intermediate cutoff at 10:30am at mile 8.5 (South Shore aid station) and a final cutoff at 2pm. This challenging course will add an out and back over Papoose Pass all the way to the bottom of Boulder Creek trail. As you can see from the elevation profile and stats, both of these courses feature a significant amount of elevation! Make sure you come prepared.
Please note: We will work with Whiskeytown Park staff to ensure course trails are clear and accessible by the date of the race. Until then, if you plan on pre-running your route, expect to potentially encounter some trail issues.
